Belonging to the Lumbricidae family, Eisenia Hortensis—or European Night Crawlers (ENC)—is a species of medium to small sized earthworms that are slowly but surely taking over worm farms around the world. In fact, it’s believed that in the future, European Night Crawlers will become more popular than Red Wigglers (compost worm) in the worm farming industry! Due to the large size of these worms, you can expect 350 worms per pound.
ENCs are also known as Super Reds.
